My name is Matthew Cotter… Im a Wedding Photographer, a Husband, a Lighting Director, a Lover of Life and I’m living my dream.
I know it sounds cynical and sometimes, I wonder who’s dream Im living, but I think I’m the luckiest guy in the world.
I love my wife Courtney; like crazy, she keeps me laughing, she keeps me in check, she reminds me it’s ok to fail a million times before I succeed. I look forward to the time I get to spend with her and am excited for this journey that we are on together in this crazy game called life.
I spent my summer’s during college touring with bands such as No Doubt, Mary J Blige, 98 Degrees, The Eagles, Metallica and a host of others.
Settling down, I’ve been fortunate to work on television shows, feature films and be a a part of the Creative Team of some of Disney’s biggest Spectaculars which has taken me on a journey to Paris, Florida, Hong Kong, Tokyo and of course, right here in my backyard, Southern California.
Photography has always been a part of me, I’ve loved capturing the project’s I’ve been a part of and have labored on. I love the art of Photography, I love capturing that single frame which is a thousand words and emotions frozen in time. I love how some of the best photographers in the world can tell such an amazing story with just a single frame in time.
This is everything I’ve always wanted to do, Im doing everything I’ve ever dreamt of. I anxiously looked forward to continuing my pursuit of becoming a better photographer, becoming a better storyteller and becoming a better husband.
